We will call your current secretary firm, take over your company documents, and get a written resignation letter from the firm. All you need to do is to clear the outstanding balance to the firm, if any. We will take care of the rest.
A company shall have at least one secretary. Appointment of the first secretary shall be made within 30 days from the date of incorporation of a company.
A secretary shall be a member of a body as set out in the Fourth Schedule, or a person licensed by the Commission under section 20(g) of the Companies Commission of Malaysia Act 2001.
A company shall lodge an AR to SSM for each calendar year not later than 30 days from the anniversary of its incorporation date. The annual return shall contain the information such as address of registered office, nature of business, list of directors and members, etc.
Directors of every company shall prepare FS within 18 months from the date of its incorporation (first year company); and subsequently within 6 months of its financial year end (existing company). According to Section 248, any directors who fail to prepare the FS shall be liable to a fine not exceeding RM 500,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
